"This (chasing fireflies) is a very good song. Quite pleasant. You have a very nice voice and there is no one I can compare it too. It's a good thing to be so original. Hope to hear more from you." -Tony
"(chasing fireflies) Lovely voice. This is my second review about your music. The other was a cool instrumental (essentia). This is very serene sultry, lovely lyrics; good vocals, most fine. Great sound mix. Like the simple acoustic accompaniment. The music has a soft tone to it that' s so infectiously sweet. Love it. Nice piano. Excellent." -Vesa.

I could just drift away on this. It's definately going on my i-pod. Love it!
Too many people copy styles, and sound like every other singer out there. That's not the case here, Sandra. You have a unique style and delivery. Cool way the voice goes into the flute thing (chasing fireflies) — blends one into the other. That acoustic guitar is simple but effecting. What a lovely song"
"Like this track verry much, it's got a strange but nice atmo that got me from the start.
The vocals are hypnotizing. Excellently done!" – Cees de Jagger
"This (Save Me) is excellent, solid backing but your vocals are superb. This is a chart track without a doubt. well done" – markyone
"The backtrack has a bit of a Robin Trower vibe, which is great for me. The vocals are excellent… This is a very well put together piece of music (Save Me). And the overall sound feels professional." – Jim
"This ('Save Me') is really refreshing. Nice vocal efx. Good harmonies/overdubs. This has a easy groove that make my head sway, and when my head sways, because I'm not a terrific dancer,(lol) it means I love it. Great 'wah' sound on the guitar; good compliment to your vocals. Fine placement & mix of the instruments, fine production, great fab arrangement and of course fine lyrics. Like that solo on guitar-tasteful. Good key work. EXCELLENT tune." "'Essentia', neat name, -love the piano, Gotta like it's smooth flow with nice dynamics…fine sound on the complimenting guitar. Well arranged. Easy going drums & solid bass groove,;all in all a well balanced production. Really like that wah, wah…nifty texture added. Good build up slowly done. Fine, most fine production. -Vesa.

"Today Pop is a joke in the music world. Entertainers like Britney Spears and Jennifer Love Hewitt market their image with poorly done songs. Pop music is well known to have little talent and skill in musicanship and in lyrical writing. However, Sandra Phillips is a true artist that illuminates the skills that most pop artist lack. She bring forth elements of piano to create a unique style of music. The lyrics are very simple but powerful that defines the potential Sandra Phillips endures than most artist you hear today. You can compare her style to Jewel's early work in 1990's. So if you want to indulge yourself to how pop should really sound. Head over to Sandra Phillips site and check her other work. " -Evy, The Edge Underground
"A TRUE TALENT WITH A STYLE ALL HER OWN" – H.e.e.t Magazine "SANDRA PHILLIPS is A very talented artist with A beautiful voice and I am sure she will take the music industry by storm."
– JANET BLACK, H.e.e.t Magazine
"…one talented musician, singer, songwriter…" …this lady is going to be a major player in the music world." -Feedback magazine, Groove Estates Productions
"Sandy's music is surprisingly mature. It goes from suave to upbeat to rebelious. Her piano playing is masterful, yet is feather light. I closed my eyes and could envision fingers waltzing across the keyboard. Sandy and her piano coordinate like horse and horseman. She will carry you from movie sound track to concert hall to piano bar and on this path she'll remind you of all your senses. The album "Emotions of Life" is a true testimony to her depth and substance. A wide variety of genre, a blend of modern jazz, r&b and new age interpreted with unlimited passion. Once you hear her music the album becomes a "must have". The artist will not only generate emotions but visions of emotional states. It's actually a unique narration of different emotional states. No one, I mean no one since Gershwin has painted such a beautiful picture for the eyes of my mind. The instrumental piece "Mysteries of Life" is a masterpiece of it's kind. When I first listened to her album I kept hitting the replay button. The band: Serena Avila, Eric Hunt, Joel Adler, Brent Harris and Todd Gentry is a very fine addition of modern sounds to this imaginative recital."
-Bill Kostyan, TheNightGuide.
"Sandy Phillips offers instrumental music with a theme in a style that remains known as "new age". The music here has a sense of foreboding with its pleasant semi-classical melodies and mid-tempo phrasing. Reminiscent of Andres Vollenweider, the multi-tracked keyboards build a flowing, haunting, and foreboding mood." -Round Sound
"Sandy – Emotions of Life 48 minutes of instrumental cool down music. 'Siempre' begins it, a slightly soul, slightly Latin wordless piece that will make young lovers coo. Each tune has a life and direction of its own. 'Embrace the Moment' is a piano ballad with a soft clicking beat. Fine fireplace music. Sandy is one talented programmer and player. In a way this is inspirational music. And I admire the inside of her cd booklet. Three pages of praise for all the influences in her life – a book of thank yous from someone who knows it isn't pure talent that lets a person succeed. Beautiful music from a beautiful lady." – Ben ohmart, @nzone magazine
Sandy's album is one of contemplative piano instrumentals with melodies that have an improvised wonder and exploration about them. This is the kind of CD that will wash over your early morning and leave you refreshed. – Bryan Baker, Gajoob
"Sandy has produced a collection of newage/meditative songs – instead of hitting us over the head, she embraces and caresses the listener with gentle keyboard passages. The artist's style can be classified as relaxing and easy to listen to. 'Mood instrumental pieces for modern life and romance.'…" earBuzz
